Choosing an archery quiver

A quiver holds your arrows and mounts on or near the bow. The most common quiver problem isn’t capacity — it’s clearance. A loaded quiver that rubs the string, the limb, or your draw-side sleeve announces itself at the worst possible moment.

The listing’s hand/side field has to match how the quiver mounts and which hand you draw with. A left-mount quiver on a right-hand bow puts arrows where your drawing arm wants to travel.

Arrow capacity

Capacity — 4-arrow, 5-arrow, and so on — tells you what the holder is built to retain. It isn’t a target to hit by cramming in one more shaft.

Broadhead hood depth and grippers need to fit the arrows and heads you’re actually carrying, not arrows in general. A shallow hood on a long broadhead leaves the blade exposed.
