Easton's 5mm Axis is a hunting arrow shaft built from nanotube N-Fused carbon composite fibers. At 340 spine this version weighs 9.5 GPI, with an outer diameter of.267 inches and a ±.003-inch straightness tolerance; stock length is 34 inches. Each order of 12 shafts arrives with factory-installed 5mm steel 8-32 half-out inserts (50 gr) and 5mm X nocks (9 gr) — additional inserts and collars are sold separately.
