Description
BSI Maxi-Cure is an extra-thick cyanoacrylate (CA) adhesive offered by Bob Smith Industries in a 56.8 g (2 oz.) bottle. The high-viscosity gel holds components in position during cure rather than running off the joint surface. An initial grip develops in 10 to 20 seconds under hand pressure, with full strength reached within 3 hours. Once cured, it is stable between -40 and 220 degrees F. Works with BSI Insta-Set accelerator for faster set. The manufacturer documents use in fletching vanes onto carbon and aluminum shafts and in point and insert installation.
