The BCY 452Xtra in Tan is a string-making material for compound bow builders, using a 67% Dyneema and 33% Vectran construction. The Vectran content is high-abrasion-resistant to reduce fraying. It has no creep and holds stable after installation; BCY recommends 20–24 strands for compound bow applications, and one spool gives approximately 8,800 feet when waxed per pound.
