BCY 452Xtra in Silver is a compound bow string-making material with a 67% Dyneema and 33% Vectran fiber blend in a patented construction. The high-abrasion-resistant Vectran reduces fraying. This material has no creep and remains stable; BCY recommends 20–24 strands when building compound bow strings, and one spool yields roughly 8,800 feet waxed per pound. The 452Xtra matches the size and strength of the original 452X. This material fits compound bow string-making; confirm strand count and length with your specific bow and jig setup.
