BCY 452Xtra in Silver is a compound bow string-making material with a 67% Dyneema and 33% Vectran fiber blend in a patented construction. The high-abrasion-resistant Vectran reduces fraying. This material has no creep and remains stable; BCY recommends 20–24 strands when building compound bow strings, and one spool yields roughly 8,800 feet waxed per pound.
