BCY 452Xtra Red/Black is a two-color string-making material for compound bow builders, blending 67% Dyneema and 33% Vectran in a patented construction. The high-abrasion-resistant Vectran component reduces fraying. The material carries no creep and holds its dimensions after installation; BCY's strand recommendation for compound bows is 20–24, and one spool yields approximately 8,800 feet waxed per pound.
