BCY 452Xtra bowstring material in Royal Blue is a string-making strand for compound bow builders, composed of 67% Dyneema and 33% Vectran. The Vectran fibers are high-abrasion-resistant, reducing fraying. The material is stable with no creep, and BCY recommends 20–24 strands for compound bows; one spool provides approximately 8,800 feet waxed per pound.
