BCY 452Xtra in Buckskin is a bowstring-making material for custom string builders. It is a 67% Dyneema and 33% Vectran blend with a patented construction; the high-abrasion-resistant Vectran reduces fraying, and the material carries no creep and is rated completely stable. BCY recommends 20 to 24 strands for compound bows, and one waxed pound yields approximately 8,800 feet.
